About the Book
In this short book, author David Jacob Smith draws from the acronym V.I.M. (Vision, Intention, and Means), to unfold a simple model for personal development in Christ. All serious followers of Jesus are on a tailored made journey toward their potential and purpose. That potential and purpose can be expressed as the transformation of our being into the likeness of Christ and doing the things Jesus did, as expressed through the unique life we have been given. God has provided everything we need to realize this potential and there is a role we play in seeing it realized. The author lays out a case for the role vision, intention, and the means God uses, play in the development of our life in Christ and how we can engage each of these in a way that results in growth and movement towards the purposes of God for our life.
